Underrepresented Devs Fund
We recognize that there are many people of great vision who are faced with challenges – a lack of tools, financial resources, support or mentors. Collectively we at The Indie Houses help identify vision holders of great potential in emerging countries or marginalized groups, and through our Underrepresented Devs Fund, help them bring their visions to life. We distribute funds and necessary resources to top candidates after deliberating together on our jury. We plan to grow this initiative annually by bringing on sponsors, increasing our pool of funds, and by targeting new countries and groups each year.
Our inaugural year will focus on game development in Africa. Submissions will open shortly after the end of our Steam event.
The Underrepresented Devs Fund is supported by Akupara Games, Neon Doctrine, Raw Fury, Those Awesome Guys, Toge Productions and Whitethorn Games.
